What happened this week! 6/11/2026

A update on the progress of getting the farmstand ready to open.

We got all of the outside painted. It was a relief to check that off of the to do list. This week it's been so hot that I used this week to work on signs. I got the double sided roadside sign made, the sign that goes on the front of the farmstand, the sign for the back that faces the road, and some small decor signs that will be used to decorate the inside of the stand. I am happy to get those all done. Next on my to do list is to complete the 3 signs that go over the existing windows on the farmstand. I dont want the windows to be used so we screwed them shut and I am putting signs over them to cover them up. I am going to attach a few photos of the painted farmstand and the signs I have completed. Next on after all of the signs are done is painting the inside. Once all this painting is finished we can hang the signs, decorate the inside, set up the bins that everything is going to be in, move the picnic table to one side of the stand, and put a fold out table on the other side to display my crocheted items on. We will from time to time have fresh picked fruits and vegetables for sale in baskets or bins on the picnic table. Its coming together and I'm getting excited and looking forward to being able to announce a grand opening date soon!
